Draughtsman (Roofing)

We are working in partnership with an established roofing contractor based in Manchester. With a strong portfolio across schools, healthcare facilities, industrial buildings, rail, and general refurbishment projects, the workload is steady, varied, and technically interesting. The business is now looking to add a Roofing Draughtsman to support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed drawings for live projects

Develop plans, sections, elevations, and technical details

Incorporate design changes and site feedback

Prepare as-built drawings on project completion

Support project and site teams with technical information

Requirements

Previous experience as a draughtsman, ideally within roofing

Strong AutoCAD experience; Revit/BIM advantageous

Good understanding of roofing systems

Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

Clear communication skills for coordination with the site and design teams
