Our client is a growing and dynamic construction management company with a strong reputation for quality, professionalism, and safety. They specialise in delivering high-quality projects within live retail environments, where attention to detail and safety are critical.

As they continue to expand, we’re looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Officer to join there team and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our safety standards across all operations.

The Role

This is a hands-on, influential position where you’ll take ownership of health and safety across our live construction sites and office operations. You’ll ensure full compliance while actively promoting a strong, positive safety culture throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular health & safety inspections and audits across live sites and office environments

*

Maintain, review, and update company health & safety policies and procedures

*

Manage and renew accreditations and compliance documentation

*

Deliver safety meetings, training sessions, and toolbox talks

*

Produce clear, professional reports, risk assessments, and safety documentation

*

Investigate incidents and implement effective corrective actions

*

Champion best practice and embed a proactive safety-first culture

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a confident and organised professional with a practical approach to safety management. Ideally, you’ll have:

Proven experience in a Health & Safety role (construction or similar industry preferred)

*

Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and best practice

*

NEBOSH General Certificate (or currently working towards)

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills

*

The ability to work independently while supporting teams on-site and in the office
