Fire Door Surveyor

Job description:
Are you an experienced professional with a keen eye for detail and a strong knowledge of fire safety regulations? We are looking for a dedicated Fire Door Surveyor to join a leading fire protection company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive surveys and inspections of fire doors across commercial and residential buildings.
* Assess the condition, compliance, and performance of fire doors against current regulations and standards.
* Produce detailed survey reports, including recommendations for maintenance, repair, or replacement.
* Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and follow-up actions.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of all surveys conducted.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in fire door surveying, fire safety, or a related building compliance role.
* Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, BS standards, and industry best practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality reports.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel to client sites across the region.
