A well-known and highly respected contractor is looking to appoint an Estimator to join its Fit Out division based in Basildon.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator to work within an established commercial team, pricing a wide range of commercial and interior fit-out projects, in a stable, office-based role with clear career progression.

The Role

*

Preparing detailed cost estimates for fit-out projects

*

Taking off quantities from drawings and specifications

*

Preparing tenders, budgets, and cost plans

*

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

*

Reviewing tender returns and value engineering opportunities

*

Supporting the commercial and delivery teams pre- and post-tender

Requirements

*

Previous experience as an Estimator within fit out, interiors, or construction

*

Strong understanding of pricing, take-offs, and tender processes

*

Confident using estimating software and Excel

*

Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness

*

Relevant construction or commercial qualification preferred
