Opportunity for an Estimator to join a Tier 1 company who are looking to expand their precon team

About the role of Estimator

As an Estimator, you will be joining a Tier 1 Main Contractor in their fit out division. They are focusing on fast paced commercial CAT A and B fit outs, mainly in zones 1 and 2, with valuations of around £15 million. Currently, they have a strong pipeline and recently acquired a huge blue-chip client.

The ideal candidate will have 5 + years estimating experience and a strong background in fit out. You will be motivated, ambitious and looking to grow alongside a business.

Responsibilities for Estimator

Carry out detailed quantity take offs from drawings and specifications
Use estimating software
Prepare & issue subcontractor enquiries
Chase quotes & manage deadlines
Assist in the cost planning at pre tender or early design stage
Take ownership of entire tender packages
Regular interaction with Senior Estimators / Estimating Managers, Commercial team, Design Managers, Planners, etc
Attend post tender interviews
Assist with handover to the commercial & site teams
Be a mentor / guide for Junior team membersRequirements for Estimator

5+ years experience
Strong background in CAT A/B fit out
Live within commutable distance to City of LondonWhat on offer
