Contracts Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Contracts / Construction Manager to play a key role in the development and growth of a new Industrial Refit division within the business. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking professional who wants to help shape processes, drive standards and oversee multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing the new Industrial Refit division, with a focus on compliance, supply chain and commercial aspects
*
Oversee the delivery of several projects, reporting directly to the Directors
*
Take off materials well in advance of site requirements and liaise with the buying department for procurement
*
Liaise with client teams and chair site meetings as required
*
Develop and manage detailed project programmes
*
Monitor and drive programmes throughout the project lifecycle to ensure on time completion
*
Monitor quality of workmanship and manage snagging to achieve handover
*
Ensure projects are delivered in line with Employer’s Requirements and meet or exceed client expectations
*
Manage Contract Instructions, Technical Submittals and RFIs
*
Utilise construction management software packages effectively
*
Proactively identify and resolve issues, planning ahead to minimise risk
About You
*
Must have proven experience in a Contracts Manager / Construction Manager role in the Industrial Refit Industry
*
Forward thinking with a proactive approach to problem solving
*
Able to work under own initiative as well as part of a collaborative team
*
Strong organisational and communication skills
*
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
