Site Manager
The Site Manager is responsible for managing construction sites to deliver projects in line with customer objectives, while maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, environmental compliance, programme, and cost control. You will oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects, working closely with the Construction Manager, Works Manager, and site teams to ensure works are completed safely, on time, to specification, and to maximum commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities

Overall delivery of civils and M&E projects within the Water industry
*
Produce and implement Project Plans, RAMS, ITPs, and other Safe Systems of Work in line with company procedures
*
Ensure compliance with company standards, legal requirements, HSE legislation, and quality controls
*
Carry out and record weekly site inspections
*
Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved method statements and risk assessments; deliver toolbox talks and briefings
*
Deliver works to the specified quality, free from defects
*
Maximise commercial performance in collaboration with the QS team
*
Support programme development, including construction programmes and 4-week look-ahead plans
*
Produce procurement schedules and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate site resources
*
Maintain accurate site records and diaries
*
Drive cost control, value engineering, and continuous improvement
Essential Requirements
*
Background in Civil Engineering within Water, Utilities, or FRC works, operating in a regulated environment
*
Strong knowledge of CDM regulations, Design Management, programme and risk management, and cost control
*
Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour
*
Competent in producing and implementing Safe Systems of Work
*
Ability to produce, manage, and analyse look-ahead programmes
*
Knowledge of NEC contracts
