Location: Rotherham (S60)
Hybrid: Yes – 2 days per week in office
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Pay: £450 per day paid weekly via umbrella
Duration: Ongoing Contract – Long Term
  
Duties
General practice surveyor required to support the wider property services team
  
Main areas of work will include: asset valuations / community asset transfer applications / community buildings review and general estate management of the clients portfolio

Provide valuation, estates management and surveying advice to all departments and promote the corporate use of the property assets across the Council. 
Advise on lower level property issues and to contribute to projects at an appropriate a level.
Provide support to projects for the negotiation of the acquisition and disposal of all types of land and property assets and interests.
Assist in undertaking statutory valuations subject to the sign off and approval by an MRICS and Registered Status Valuer to support the Council’s accountancy functions.
