Multitrader / Multi Trade Operative – Social Housing
📍 Uttlesford & surrounding areas (CB11, CB10, CM6, CM22)
💰 Salary: £38,000 per annum
🕒 Full-time, permanent
We are recruiting an experienced Multitrader to join a growing social housing repairs and maintenance contract covering Uttlesford and surrounding areas.
The Role
You will carry out a wide range of repairs and maintenance works within tenanted properties, delivering high-quality, safe and professional workmanship across multiple trades. The role requires a flexible, reliable operative who can work independently and as part of a team.
Key Duties
Plastering repairs to a high standard
Brickwork, blockwork and minor building works
General multi-trade maintenance
Basic plumbing and carpentry (desirable)
Basic electrical tasks within competency
Diagnosing faults and completing effective repairs
Providing excellent customer service in occupied homes
Essential Requirements
Proven experience in social housing / tenanted properties
Strong plastering and brickwork skills
NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 minimum
Multi-trade maintenance experience
Good Health & Safety awareness
Full UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship)
DBS check (or willingness to undertake)
