We are working exclusively on behalf of a rapidly expanding contractor in the Eastern region. Due to growth and a strong forward order book, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Contracts / Projects Manager to play a key role in delivering major schemes.

The Role

As Contracts / Projects Manager, you will take full commercial and operational responsibility for multiple projects across Norfolk, Suffolk and East Cambridgeshire, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

*

Full management of multiple live projects from pre-start through to completion

*

Programming, resourcing and cost control

*

Managing procurement, ordering of materials and plant, and overseeing site logistics to ensure smooth project delivery

*

Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers

*

Ensuring compliance with H&S, environmental and quality standards

*

Client liaison and stakeholder management

*

Supporting tendering, variations and commercial reporting

*

Driving efficiency, innovation and best practice across projects

Projects typically include:

* Civils and groundworks

*

Drainage, foundations, concrete works and earthworks

*

(Water treatment experience is highly beneficial )

You will work closely with senior management, clients, site teams and supply chain partners, acting as a key driver of performance and quality across the portfolio.

About You

*

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Projects Manager within civils and groundworks

*

Strong technical understanding of civils construction methodologies

*

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

*

Commercially aware with excellent organisational skills

*

Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset

*

Water treatment or utilities experience would be a strong advantage
