Site Supervisor

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to work on a live HMP Glasgow project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring health & safety compliance, and managing subcontractors within a secure, operational prison environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day site operations within a live prison environment

*

Ensure all works are carried out safely, on programme, and to a high standard

*

Coordinate subcontractors and site labour

*

Enforce site health & safety procedures and security protocols

*

Liaise with site management, client representatives, and security staff

*

Conduct site inspections and quality checks

*

Maintain accurate site records and reporting

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role

*

Previous experience working in a live prison / secure environment (highly desirable)

*

Clean Scottish Disclosure (essential)

*

Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures

*

Ability to work effectively under strict security controls

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills
