Service Engineer (Commercial & Domestic Heating)

Location: Bristol (covering Bristol, Bath, Swindon & Gloucester)
Salary: £45,000 – £54,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: 40 hours per week + overtime
On-call: 1 in 5 rota (£100 standby fee)

The Role

We are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join our clients well-established mechanical services business. The role is largely self-managed and will involve working with Natural Gas, LPG, and Oil, primarily on commercial and industrial sites, with some domestic work for private clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Fault finding, maintenance, and repair of heating systems

* Annual servicing of commercial and domestic appliances

* Working safely and efficiently across multiple sites

* Managing workload and time effectively

* Delivering a high standard of customer service

* Participation in a 1-in-5 on-call rota

Candidate Requirements

* Proven experience in a similar service engineering role

* Qualified in commercial & domestic natural gas, LPG, and oil

* Valid CSCS card

* Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (including child barring list)

* Eligible to work in the UK

* Full, valid UK driving licence

* Physically fit and able to carry out a wide range of manual tasks

* Strong time-management and self-organisation skills

* HWSS (including G3)
