About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Tiling Estimator to join our team, working on a range of commercial tiling projects including residential developments, retail, hospitality, healthcare, and public-sector works.

This is a key role responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, supporting tender submissions, and working closely with project managers and site teams to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial tiling projects

Measure and take off quantities from drawings, specifications, and schedules

Analyse tender documents, drawings, and scope of works

Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations

Prepare pricing breakdowns, budgets, and value engineering options

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams during the tender process

Assist with variations, cost control, and post-tender handovers

Requirements
Proven experience as a Tiling Estimator or Estimator within the tiling / finishes / construction sector

Strong knowledge of commercial tiling systems, materials, and installation methods

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills

Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Desirable
Experience working on large-scale or high-value commercial projects

Background in subcontractor estimating

Knowledge of procurement and supplier negotiation
