Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor

Due to increased workload across multiple long-term frameworks and major projects, a specialist MEP QS consultancy is seeking a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in commercial delivery and team development.

The business is recognised for its depth of MEP expertise, often being brought in on projects where commercial risk, complexity, and technical challenge require experienced leadership. Senior QSs are trusted to lead major MEP packages while supporting the growth and mentoring of less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities

Leading the commercial management of large and complex MEP packages

Providing expert pre- and post-contract commercial advice

*

Overseeing procurement strategy and subcontractor negotiations

*

Managing complex variations, claims, and final accounts

*

Producing detailed commercial reports and forecasts

*

Mentoring and supporting junior MEP QS staff

*

Acting as a key commercial interface with clients and senior stakeholders

About You

*

Extensive experience in MEP quantity surveying

*

Strong technical and contractual knowledge of mechanical and electrical works

*

Proven ability to lead projects and manage commercial risk

*

Confident communicator with clients and senior project teams
