Quantity Surveyor (Cost Control & Estimation)

Location: Office-based, next to Heathrow
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (flexible for the right candidate)
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in a brand-new role. This is the first time the business has appointed a QS, so the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping commercial processes and adding real value from day one.

The Role

You will be responsible for cost control, estimating, and commercial management across a range of projects. The business delivers multi-disciplined works, including fit-out, so versatility and hands-on experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Cost control and financial management of projects

*

Preparing estimates, budgets, and cost plans

*

Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts

*

Working extensively under NEC contracts

*

Providing commercial advice and reporting to senior management

*

Supporting projects from pre-construction through to completion

Essential Requirements

*

In-depth knowledge and proven experience with NEC contracts (non-negotiable)

*

Strong background in cost control and estimation

*

Experience working on fit-out projects

*

Multi-disciplined QS experience preferred

*

Ability to work independently and take ownership of the role

*

Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
