Site Manager – Industrial / Warehouse Project (Enfield)

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager (SMSTS qualified) to oversee industrial and warehouse construction works on a project based in Enfield. The role involves managing site operations across warehouse infrastructure, mechanical and electrical services, and associated industrial works, ensuring delivery is safe, on programme, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations on an industrial warehouse project, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with drawings and specifications

*

Supervise and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and trades including mechanical services, HVAC, industrial pipework, electrical systems, plant installation, structural works, and associated builders’ works

*

Manage works within live or partially operational warehouse environments where required

*

Lead site inductions, toolbox talks, daily briefings, and safety meetings

*

Review, implement, and enforce RAMS, ensuring full compliance with CDM regulations and Health & Safety legislation

*

Liaise with project management, engineers, and client representatives to ensure efficient project delivery

*

Monitor programme progress and drive productivity on site

*

Maintain accurate site documentation including daily site diaries, progress reports, permits, inspections, and quality records

*

Manage site logistics including deliveries, lifting operations, traffic management, and waste removal

*

Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and compliance throughout all phases of the project

Requirements

*

SMSTS (SSSTS may be considered with strong industrial experience)

*

Proven experience delivering industrial and warehouse projects

*

Strong background in HVAC, industrial services, and plant / warehouse infrastructure

*

Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and CDM requirements

*

CSCS Black or Gold card

*

First Aid at Work

*

NVQ Level 6 Construction Management (or equivalent)

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
