Salter Grange has partnered with high growth Property Technology and sustainability company with an international team across multiple time zones and markets.
As they scale rapidly across the UK and Europe, we are looking for a technically sharp MEP Engineer to join the London-based Solutions Team.
This MEP Engineer role is a hybrid of technical engineering, project coordination, and client-facing consultation and someone who understands traditional plumbing/MEP but can bridge that gap with modern "smart building" technology.
MEP Engineer Responsibilities:
The role follows the full lifecycle of a project, from the initial site visit to the final solution design.
* You will be responsible for designing and scoping how IoT hardware fits into specific construction and real estate projects.
* Performing physical site surveys to determine how the system will integrate with existing or planned plumbing infrastructure.
* Acting as the "technical glue" between Sales, Product, and Operations departments to ensure the solution is feasible and delivered correctly.
* Presenting technical plans to clients and explaining how the system will prevent leaks and save water.
* Supporting the expansion of the company in the UK and European markets through technical business development.
MEP Engineer Requirements:
* Degree: B.Eng in Building Services, MEP, or Civil/Environmental Engineering (with a focus on water).
* At least 4 years in MEP or water systems engineering.
* Professional-level ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plumbing schematics.
* Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and BS standards.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and Bluebeam is highly preferred.
* CIBSE membership or working toward Chartership.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced "start-up" environment across international time zones.
