Mechanical Commissioning Engineer – Temporary Contract

We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to support a major project at Bournemouth Hospital, working for a leading Tier 1 contractor.

This is a long-term temporary opportunity with at least 12 months of work available, and a strong pipeline of ongoing works in the Bournemouth area.

Role Overview
You will be responsible for the commissioning of mechanical building services on a large healthcare project, ensuring systems are delivered safely, compliantly, and to programme. The role requires a strong mechanical bias and experience working on complex, live environments.

Key Requirements

Proven experience as a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

Strong background in healthcare or large-scale commercial projects

*

Ability to work within a Tier 1 contractor environment

*

Solid understanding of commissioning procedures, testing, and documentation

*

Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently on site

Location: Bournemouth Hospital

Duration: Minimum 12 months

Rate: £300 – £400 per day, depending on experience

Start: ASAP / by agreement
