Synergy Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a Site Manager – Facades for a project in Southampton, Hampshire.

Site Manager – Facades (Southampton, Hampshire)

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager (Facades) to oversee the delivery of multiple façade-related packages on a live project in Southampton, Hampshire, with a total package value of approximately £6,000,000.

Scope of works you will be overseeing:

Curtain walling installation

*

Entrance doors

*

RS cladding

*

Ground floor soffits

*

Plantroom cladding

You will be site-based daily and will report to the Senior Project Manager on a day-to-day basis.

Working hours: 7:30am – 5:00pm (TBC – guide only)

Duration of works: Approximately 6 months, with potential extension depending on project progress and site conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of façade installation packages

*

Overseeing labour and subcontractors on site

*

Managing a package valued at circa £6m

*

Ensuring adherence to programme and quality standards

*

Completing and managing daily H&S documentation

*

Completing QA paperwork and inspections

*

Ensuring works are carried out in line with drawings and specifications

*

Liaising confidently with the main contractor and project stakeholders

*

Maintaining a tidy, safe, compliant site

Experience & Qualifications Required

*

CSCS Black Site Manager card

*

NVQ Level 6 (or equivalent)

*

SMSTS

*

First Aid

*

MEWPs for Managers

*

PASMA

*

Proven track record within the facades sector

*

Experience managing similar projects and specialist packages

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

*

Strong IT and paperwork management skills

*

Confident dealing directly with main contractors
