Retrofit Project Manager
A client within the Public Sector based in the South East is currently recruiting for a Retrofit Project Manager to join their Homes / Environment & Sustainability team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, permanent position, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority or housing association environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to project manage the delivery of retrofit, energy efficiency and decarbonisation works across existing housing stock, ensuring projects are delivered compliantly, to a high standard, on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Project manage retrofit and energy improvement programmes across the South East
• Ensure full compliance with PAS 2035, CDM Regulations and all relevant health and safety legislation
• Manage contractor performance, including on-site inspections and regular contract meetings
• Prepare project briefs, specifications and scopes of work to support procurement
• Manage project budgets, invoices, accruals and reporting requirements
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require the below:
• A qualification in construction, surveying, architecture, sustainability or retrofit
• PAS 2035 knowledge and/or accreditation (desirable)
• A valid UK driving licence
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
• Experience delivering planned or capital works within social housing or local authority settings
• Strong contract and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of energy efficiency, decarbonisation and retrofit programmes
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £53,000 per annum plus a £4,385 car allowance.
