This university with a global reputation for sporting excellence has an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Project Officer to join this small team within the larger Estate department.
The role
Supporting the Sustainability Manager, you will have a keen eye for detail and the confidence to deliver projects to meet our university-wide sustainable goals. You will be a Champion for the community of sustainable practice, engaging and participating in net-zero efforts across campus and wider sustainability activities and an excellent communicator with the ability to adapt style and information to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
About you
You will be a great multitasker, committed to acting in accordance with the university sustainability values, with the ability to build partnerships with students, staff and tenants to support our goals.
Skills needed
- Excellent data handling skills, with the ability to analyse and interrogate complex data sets.
- An excellent knowledge and understanding of the holistic nature of sustainability and how this relates to large, complex institutions;
- Proven success in project management and delivery, tracking and monitoring performance and coordinating and managing budgets and resources
- An ability to relate sustainability to community and civic collaboration
