Contracts Manager

The Client:
A well-established and growing main contractor operating across the commercial, residential, education and public sectors. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality refurbishment, fit-out and new build projects, the business continues to expand its delivery team to support a healthy pipeline of work across London and the South East.

The Role:
As Contracts Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to a high standard. Working closely with site teams, commercial staff and senior management, you will oversee projects from pre-construction through to final handover, acting as a key point of contact for clients and consultants.

This is a senior role suited to an experienced construction professional who is comfortable managing multiple sites and leading teams in a fast-paced main contracting environment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the delivery of multiple construction projects concurrently.

*

Lead and manage Site Managers, subcontractors and supply chain partners.

*

Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to agreed quality standards.

*

Monitor programme, resourcing and progress across all live projects.

*

Manage client relationships and attend regular progress meetings.

*

Work closely with commercial teams to control costs, variations and profitability.

*

Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures.

*

Contribute to pre-construction planning and programme development where required.

Qualifications & Experience:

*

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within a main contracting environment.

*

Strong technical knowledge across refurbishment, fit-out and new build projects.

*

Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.

*

Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

*

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications preferred.

*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required.

Salary & Package:

*

£60,000 – £70,000 per annum.

*
