Structural Steel Design Engineer

JN Technical is recruiting an experienced Structural Steel Design Engineer for a national steelwork contractor delivering complex projects across the UK.

Role:

*

Structural steel design using industry software

*

Apply loadings, calculate stresses and load paths

*

Interpret drawings and specifications

*

Ensure compliance with UK standards and H&S

*

Liaise with clients and project teams

*

Support tenders and provide progress updates

Requirements:

*

Extensive UK steelwork industry experience

*

Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (or equivalent)

*

Strong structural mechanics and design calculation skills

*

Software experience: Tekla Structural Designer (Fastrak), Fastrak Portal Frame, MasterFrame / STAAD Pro, MasterSeries Connections
