Your new role
They are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to join their team in Suffolk. The successful candidate will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Project Management:
Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution. - Team Supervision:
Manage and supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers. - Quality Control:
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. - Budget Management:
Monitor build costs and project progress, ensuring projects are completed within budget. - Communication:
Liaise with clients, surveyors, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any issues. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate project documentation, including site reports, designs, and drawings.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, project management, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- SMSTS, First aid and CSCS
