A well-established and reputable façade contractor is seeking an experienced Facades Project Manager for a position based in Ipswich. The business has been trading for over 25 years, with a turnover of circa £35m, and specialises in new build and façade remediation works.

The company delivers façade packages including rainscreen cladding, glazing, and curtain walling on contracts valued up to £15m. It works with leading main contractors such as Willmott Dixon, Kier, and Galliford Try, and has built a strong reputation for quality and reliability within the industry.

The Role

The Facades Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Managing façade projects from inception to handover

*

Overseeing rainscreen cladding and glazing/curtain walling packages

*

Programme planning, monitoring, and reporting

*

Cost control, variations, and commercial awareness

*

Managing site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain

*

Ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality standards

*

Liaising with main contractors, consultants, and clients

Candidate Requirements

*

Proven experience in a Facades Project Manager role

*

Strong technical knowledge of rainscreen cladding and curtain walling systems

*

Experience delivering projects valued up to £10m–£15m

*

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work independently

*

Strong organisational and communication skills

*

SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant construction qualifications preferred

Package

£65,000 – £75,000 salary (dependent on experience)
