Join an established main contractor as an MEP Project Engineer to support the delivery of MEP services across construction projects from pre-construction through to testing, commissioning and handover. This well-established main contractor are known for their high-end developments, keen eye for detail and delivering exceptional projects to their client base. Due to continued project wins and repeat business there is now room for a MEP Project Engineer to join. This role will work closely with the Technical Services Manager and wider project team to ensure all mechanical and electrical services are coordinated, compliant and delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide technical MEP support throughout the project lifecycle, including design review, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

* Coordinate MEP design information, programmes, site activities, and subcontractor performance, resolving technical issues, non-conformances, and coordination clashes.

* Support testing and commissioning of systems including BMS, lighting control, AV, security, and life safety, ensuring interfaces between systems are managed effectively.

* Assist with handover documentation, O&M manuals, and certification while maintaining adherence to Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures and supporting site and coordination meetings.

You will need:

* HNC/ONC in Engineering, mechanical or electrical with proven construction experience

* Strong understanding of MEP systems and site delivery

* Collaborative team player with strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving

* Comfortable in a fast-paced, project-driven environment

* Assist with the preparation of handover documentation, O&M manuals and certification
