Senior Architectural Technologist required to join a superb regional Architectural Practice located in Leeds City centre!

This AJ100 architectural practice has an excellent and long-standing reputation across its regional offices and is firmly established as one of the UK’s premium architectural brands. With a diverse and loyal client base spanning both the public and private sectors, the practice delivers a broad cross-sector portfolio and operates as a well-run, financially robust business with a very healthy forward order book.

They are now seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist who shares their enthusiasm, ambition, and commitment to quality. The Role

This position would suit a Senior Architectural Technologist with approximately 5–10 years’ experience within an architectural practice. You will be working across multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, particularly within Retail, Industrial, Energy, Modular Off-Site, and Leisure sectors.

The ideal candidate will be a meticulous technical professional who takes pride in delivering work to the highest standard. The practice is 100% Revit-based, so strong Revit capability is essential, along with experience delivering live projects to BIM Level 2 standards. As this is a client-facing role, excellent communication skills and a collaborative, client-centric approach are key.

Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should ideally meet the following criteria:

5–10 years’ experience within an architectural practice

MCIAT accreditation or actively working towards it (full support provided)

Experience across multiple sectors, including Commercial, Industrial, Modular Off-Site, Leisure & Hospitality, and Transportation

Relevant qualification such as a Degree in Architectural Technology or HND in Building Studies

Confident job-running ability with strong client-facing skills

Excellent technical knowledge of design and construction processes

Strong Revit skills and a good working knowledge of AutoCAD

Ability to audit designs, identify inconsistencies or missing information, and manage issue resolution through to close-out

Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the Planning and Building Control application process

Experience leading site meetings with clients, consultants, and contractor teams

Salary & Application

The salary is highly competitive and negotiable, depending on experience and suitability, typically in the range of £45,000 – £50,000 per annum.
