Quantity Surveyor – Retail Fit-Out Projects

£55,000 – £70,000 + Company Car or £8k Car Allowance (depending on experience)

Location: Bristol with flexibility to travel to client sites across the UK when required
Employment Type: Permanent (Hybrid Working Available)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial responsibility for retail fit-out projects. You’ll manage budgets, procurement, and cost control, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and to the highest standards.

This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial acumen and experience in fast-track retail fit-out projects. Food sector experience is not required – we’re focused on retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all commercial aspects of allocated retail fit-out projects.

* Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.

* Oversee procurement and subcontractor negotiations.

* Ensure compliance with contractual and financial processes.

* Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications & Experience

* Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or related field.

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within retail fit-out projects.

* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
