The Role
As a Working Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee day‑to‑day site operations while actively contributing to electrical installation works. You'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards, coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers.
Key Responsibilities
Supervising electrical installation teams on active construction sites
Carrying out hands‑on electrical installation and testing work
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
Coordinating labour, materials, and daily work schedules
Conducting toolbox talks and site inductions
Liaising with project managers, clients, and other trades
Monitoring progress and reporting on site performance
Ensuring all work meets current electrical standards and regulations
Requirements
Essential:
Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Lead Electrician
Strong background in electrical installation on commercial or residential projects
Ability to work hands‑on while supervising teams
Excellent communication and organisational skills
ECS/Gold Card
18th Edition
SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred but not essential)
Full understanding of health & safety practices
