A leading European data centre delivery specialist is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join its growing team in Lisbon.
This organisation delivers full turnkey data centre projects across Europe, working with global technology clients on some of the most complex and high-value mission-critical developments in the market. With a strong forward order book and long-term project pipeline, this role offers excellent stability and career progression within digital construction.
Reporting into the BIM leadership team, the BIM Coordinator will be responsible for driving multi-disciplinary BIM coordination on a live data centre project, ensuring models, drawings, and outputs are fully coordinated, clash-free, and construction-ready.
This is a site-based role offering hands-on exposure to complex MEP installations and large-scale project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and resolve BIM clashes and coordination issues across MEP and CSA disciplines
* Deliver all 2D and 3D coordination milestones in line with the project BIM Execution Plan
* Produce coordinated drawings, schedules, and model outputs to construction standards
* Liaise closely with Package Managers and Site Engineers to support complex MEP installations
* Maintain model accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements
* Support digital construction workflows from installation through commissioning
* Assist and mentor junior BIM team members
* Participate in coordination meetings, technical workshops, and site reviews
Requirements
* Strong Revit experience with an MEP bias (essential)
* AutoCAD experience preferred
* Navisworks experience desirable
* 4+ years’ experience working on large-scale or complex construction projects
* Experience in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial, or major commercial projects is advantageous
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, BIM, or a related discipline
* Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, site-based environment
