Site Engineer

How do you fancy working on a big old juicy project with plenty to do for the next 2-3 years? Does that wet your whistle? 

We are looking to procure a freelance "site engineer" for a heavy civil engineering scheme based near to Bridgwater. Its well underway but will be running until 2027/28

The project has a number of sections covering the following types of Civil Engineering: 

Large RC Structures
Sheet Piling
Major Earthworks 
River re-alignments
Bridges and Viaducts  It's and exciting project with lots of variety to keep you interested. We are looking for a freelance "site engineer" to support with the following:  

Setting out and monitoring of works
Site Diary
Quality assurance 
Health and Safety  The client will provide you will all Kit and Equipment and are looking to pay £320 – £350 per day (plus Holiday pay) depending on experience. 

We are looking for experienced site engineers with one or more of the following types of project experience: 

Major Highways
Large RC structures – Bridges, Viaducts etc
Major Water Treatment Works 
Flood alleviation Schemes
Major Earthworks  We are looking for applicants with the following skills and experience:

Degree or similar in Civil Engineering
Experience working on heavy civil engineering projects – Earthworks, RC structures, Marine works, River Diversions etc
Excellent Communication skills
Commutable to the Bridgwater area
Full UK driving licence
