Groundwork Experienced Estimator

Key Requiriments:

5 Years experience

JCT Contract Experience

Groundwork Experiences.

Key responsibilities:

Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

*

Data Analysis: Analyze blueprints, plans, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

*

Consultation: Collaborate with clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

*

Cost Effectiveness Assessment: Assess the cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.

*

Communication: Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.

*

Software Utilization: Use computer software to calculate estimates and evaluate a project’s financial feasibility.

* Documentation: Maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors, and prepare reports for management regarding project budgets.

These positions require you to have the right to work in the UK, and are all based around the London area.
