Site Manager

Main Contractor requires an experienced Site Manager with strong RC frame and structural delivery experience to help deliver an assisted living scheme north of Reading. The project runs well into 2027 and includes multi-block construction, complex logistics, and high standards of health & safety.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage RC frame and associated structural works, ensuring programme, quality, and safety targets are met

* Coordinate daily activity with subcontractors, temporary works teams, logistics, and planning.

* Monitor installation of reinforcement, formwork, concrete pours, and sequencing

* Review RAMS and ensure compliance with site safety procedures and permit systems.

* Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and digital field inspections

* Work closely with the Project Manager on look-aheads, procurement priorities, and resource planning

* Ensure the structural phase is completed to specification in readiness for façade and internal trades

* Contribute to the development of handover documentation, QA records, and sign-off requirements

Ideal Candidate:

* Demonstrated experience managing RC frame packages with a main contractor or specialist

* Strong subcontractor coordination and leadership skills

* Construction-related qualification or trade background preferred

* Confident communicator with the ability to drive progress on a busy live project
