Electrical Supervisor

BMSL are looking for an experienced working supervisor for an 8 month duration in Edinburgh city centre.

Previous experience in a fast moving commercial project is required please find more details below.

Candidate Requirements

* Valid CSCS card

* Able to carry out the duties below:

Key Responsibilities

*

* Review design requirements once appointed by the Project Manager and identify any missing information

* Raise and manage technical queries via the Design Development Tracker and the Project Manager

* Issue delivery schedules to suppliers

* Issue the project programme to subcontractors

* Coordinate material deliveries, site storage, and laydown areas

* Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors to commence works

* Monitor site progress and report updates to the project team and Director

* Ensure operatives comply with RAMS and wear the correct PPE

* Ensure any changes are recorded and communicated to the project team

* Direct tradesmen, operatives, and subcontractors to carry out works safely and efficiently

* Attend site progress meetings with the customer

* Alert the Buyer to any supplier issues or concerns

* Carry out quality inspections across all elements of work

* Carry out demonstrations of M&E installations to the customer and end user

* Carry out electrician installation work as required
