Job Specification: Site Manager

Location: Dartford & surrounding areas
Department: Construction
Reports to: Contracts Manager

Salary up to £50k p/a

Main Responsibilities

* Plan works and prepare short‑term programmes.

* Ensure works are completed on time, on budget, and to required quality.

* Manage and supervise subcontractors and direct labour.

* Keep site secure, safe, and well‑organised.

* Maintain site filing, diaries, visitor records.

* Check deliveries for damage or missing items.

* Read and interpret drawings and specifications.

* Check drawings, report discrepancies, and maintain drawing registers.

* Carry out daily safe‑start briefings.

* Produce method statements and review subcontractor RAMS.

* Ensure compliance with company H&S policies and HSE regulations.

* Deliver site inductions and ensure RAMS are read and signed.

Required Qualifications

* Social Housing experience

* Site Manager Experience 3+ years

* CSCS

* First Aid

* SMSTS
