Mechanical Package Manager – Harlow

TXM Recruit is currently working in partnership with a leading engineering and construction company who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Package Manager.

As a Mechanical Package Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, manage labour and subcontractors, coordinate logistics and materials, and ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Harlow

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and coordinate direct labour and subcontractors on site

* Oversee site logistic and management of materials to ensure uninterrupted project delivery

* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and industry standards

* Liaise with internal teams, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to maintain clear communication and progress reporting

* Provide leadership and direction to site teams

* Support project planning, reporting, and coordination to meet programme milestones

* Deliver projects within live environments such as data centres and healthcare facilities, maintaining strict operational and safety controls

Requirements

* NVQ Level 3 or higher in Construction or Engineering (or equivalent industry experience), with a mechanical bias

* CITB SSSTS certificate or approved equivalent

* IOSH Supervising Safely qualification

* CSCS card relevant to the role (Black Card desirable)

* First Aid at Work certification

* Full UK driving licence

* Proven experience managing mechanical packages or similar roles on construction or engineering projects
