THE COMPANY: My client are a forward thinking main contractor with a regional turnover in excess of £300m. They have an extensive portfolio of completed schemes spans a wide range of sectors including cutting edge carbon free buildings, Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Ecclesiastical, Industrial, Leisure and General Public works and these have been secured using a diverse range of procurement methods including substantial repeat business methods due to their non-confrontational approach. They are also included on many Framework agreements.

POSITION: Project Manager, reporting to the Construction Director

Able to generate a complete, complex, dynamic plan for the whole life cycle of a project

Manage projects consistently to achieve or better targets relating to cost project timescales & customer satisfaction.

Develop people within the life cycle of the project

Maintain clear and precise documentation in line with company procedures for complex projects

Risk management to include qualitative and quantitative analysis and monitor risks throughout the life cycle of the project.

Acts as lead interface with the client.

Consistently focus on defining, understanding & agreeing customer needs

Able to communicate well at all levels

Good understanding of H&S issues associated with Construction

Desirable Qualifications

HNC/HND/Degree in a Construction Related Discipline

Member of a relevant professional institute

Member of APMP or formal qualification in PM

Senior Management CSCS card

PROJECT: Initial project is £4.5million enabling works for a future £40million project. Project will include the adjustment of roads and the removal and replacement of an existing sub-station. Future projects will be valued to £15million
