Job Title: Mechanical Small Works Manager
Location: Nottingham – UK Wide Projects
Salary: £50K Per Annum + Package

The Role:

Deliver mechanical small works projects from initial survey through to completion, typically valued between £10k–£75k

Manage multiple live projects across heating, plumbing, ductwork, and air conditioning disciplines

Carry out nationwide site surveys for potential and awarded works, producing supporting documentation and scope details

Plan, coordinate, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within agreed budgets

Liaise closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery

Maintain cost control throughout the project lifecycle, including budgeting, variations, and commercial awareness

Monitor progress, quality, and H&S compliance across all projects, ensuring company and industry standards are met

Support business development by identifying and upselling additional works where appropriate

Prepare project documentation, reports, and handover information as required

The Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience managing mechanical small works projects (HVAC, plumbing, ductwork, or similar)

Strong technical understanding of mechanical building services and installation standards

Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Confident communicator with strong client-facing experience

Commercially aware, with experience in estimating, budgeting, and cost control

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide

Desirable:
HNC / HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
