Estimator – Surfacing
Our client, a well-established civils contractor, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team. This role will focus on producing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender submissions, and bills of quantities
Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations
Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
Work closely with project and commercial teams to ensure competitive and compliant tenders
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Estimator within construction, civils, or specialist contracting
Strong knowledge of estimating methods, materials, and construction techniques
Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines
