A growing consultancy with a strong regional presence is currently seeking a confident and capable Project Manager to join their Manchester office. With a varied and expanding portfolio across residential, hotels, leisure, and office developments, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to deliver exciting built environment schemes throughout the North West.

The successful Project Manager will be joining a sociable, forward-thinking team that places strong emphasis on quality delivery, client service and professional development. This role would suit a Project Manager who is keen to take ownership of their projects, work closely with clients, and contribute to a growing, collaborative team.

The Project Manager's role

The appointed Project Manager will manage a range of projects from initial feasibility through to handover. Working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, the Project Manager will take responsibility for programme, cost and delivery performance, ensuring smooth coordination throughout all project stages.

Projects are predominantly in the North West and include a mix of new build and refurbishment schemes across residential, commercial and leisure sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering projects across the full lifecycle

Preparing and managing programmes, cost plans, and risk registers

Leading design team and contractor coordination

Managing procurement and contract administration

Maintaining client communication and progress reporting

Supporting wider team development and knowledge sharing

The Project Manager

2-5 years' experience in a consultancy or client-side PM role

Experience delivering construction or refurbishment projects

Sector experience in at least one of: residential, hotels, leisure or commercial

Degree qualified in a construction-related subject

Progressing towards chartership (RICS, APM, CIOB) – support provided

Well-organised, confident communicator, and proactive problem solver
