Your new role

As a Waste Management Supervisor, you will oversee the Waste Transfer Station (WTS) and Waste Haulage operations. Your responsibilities will include supervising HGV drivers and waste operatives, managing on-site assets, planning logistics, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management systems.

You'll also play a key role in staff training and development while liaising with stakeholders such as the Environment Agency and Traffic Commissioner.

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 3 weekends.
Pay: £18.83 – £20.35 per hour (Umbrella).Contract: Ongoing temporary

What you'll need to succeed

HGV Licence & Driver CPC (or willingness to work towards)
Loading shovel/plant ticket or Train the Trainer qualification (or willingness to work towards)
GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
NVQ Level 3/BTEC or equivalent
WAMITAB CoTC Level 3 (or working towards)
Experience supervising employees in waste management or similar industry
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Computer literacy (MS Office and industry software)
Full, valid driving licence
