Façade Manager

Currently seeking an experienced Facade Manager for a Tier 1 principle contractor delivering complex, high-value projects in London. Due to continued growth and a strong forward pipeline, we are seeking a seeking a Facade Manager or Facade lead to oversee a couple of projects and play a key role in the facade design development and delivery.

About the Facade Manager

This is a vital role for a highly technical professional who can manage the full facade lifestyle from design through to installation and delivery.

This requires close collaboration with design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure facade solutions meet programme, quality, cost and performance requirements.

Key responsibilities

Lead the facade strategy across a 1-2 projects simultaneously
Manage facade design development from concept through to detailed design and then installation and delivery
Provide authoritative guidance on facade systems, materials and installation methodologies
Ensure compliance of the fire safety, Building Safety Act and sustainability standards
Coordinate site activity
Act as the point of contract for all facade related matters with the client, consultants and subcontractors.
Prepare and present progress reportsQualifications and Skills needed for the role

Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (or equivalent experience)
Strong technical knowledge of facade systems – Auto-cad desirable
Proven experience of management complex facade packages on large scale commercial projects
