Electrical Project Manager
Role Overview:
We are recruiting an Electrical Project Manager for a leading contractor specialising in M&E, fit-out and mixed services projects throughout the UK. You will be responsible for overseeing electrical works across multiple schemes, ensuring compliance with current electrical standards (including 18th Edition) and signing off installations. Acting as the technical authority on electrical matters, you will work closely with engineers, delivery teams and clients to drive quality, safety and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide electrical technical leadership across projects from planning to completion.
Review, advise and sign off electrical designs and site installation works.
Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations, including 18th Edition wiring regulations.
Liaise with engineers, architects, clients and subcontractors to clarify electrical specifications.
Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues or design conflicts.
Conduct site visits and inspections to uphold safety and quality standards.
Produce project reports and updates for internal and client stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in electrical project management within construction or M&E services.
Up-to-date knowledge of electrical regulations — 18th Edition qualification essential.
Strong understanding of electrical design, installation practices and compliance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
Experience with quality control and site inspection processes.
Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities across teams.
