Quantity Surveyor

Our client is currently seeking the services of an accomplished Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established contractor operating within the groundworks and reinforced concrete frame sector.

This role would suit a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with a strong subcontractor background, capable of taking full commercial responsibility for high-value packages across London.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience within groundworks and RC frame projects and a proven track record of delivering and managing packages valued up to £15 million.

Duties will include full commercial management of projects, cost control and reporting, subcontractor procurement and management, preparation and agreement of valuations and final accounts, management of variations and change control, and ensuring contractual and commercial compliance throughout the project lifecycle. The role will involve close collaboration with project and delivery teams.

Candidates must have strong working knowledge of NEC and JCT forms of contract. Previous experience working for a subcontractor is considered extremely advantageous.

The position is based in London, offers a competitive daily rate, and is available for an immediate start for the right candidate. Ideally, applicants will be London-based and have their own transport.
