FM Search & Select are working on behalf of a well-established HVAC contractor to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their Glasgow-based projects team.

This role offers full responsibility for the delivery of commercial HVAC projects, typically valued between £500k and £10m, with ownership from project handover through to completion.

About the Role

*

Managing multiple commercial HVAC projects from pre-construction to final handover

*

Full P&L responsibility, including cost control, forecasting, variations, and profitability

*

Creating and maintaining clear project plans, folder structures, and documentation

*

Managing programmes to ensure works are delivered on time and within budget

*

Acting as the main point of contact for clients, architects, consultants, and stakeholders

*

Leading site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers

*

Attending and leading progress and design meetings

*

Identifying and managing risks before they impact programme or cost

*

Supporting the identification of additional workstreams and variations

*

Ensuring a right first time approach and zero live defects at handover

Health & Safety & Quality

*

Preparing, reviewing, and managing RAMS

*

Ensuring compliance with HSEQ processes, COSHH, and construction phase plans

*

Managing and reporting incidents, near misses, and toolbox talks

*

Ensuring installations meet quality standards and manufacturer specifications

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Project Manager within HVAC or construction

*

Demonstrable experience running commercial projects with full P&L responsibility

*

Experience delivering projects valued £500k – £8m

*

Strong commercial, organisational, and financial management skills

*

Confident managing client relationships and liaising with architects and consultants

*

Highly organised with strong documentation and reporting discipline

*

Proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong communication skills
