Construction Planner – London
A growing and design-led residential developer is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Planner to support the delivery of high-quality new build residential schemes across London and the South East. This is a key role within the project team, offering real involvement across both pre-construction and live delivery stages.
The Opportunity:
Working across sites and the office, you'll take ownership of construction programmes on complex residential developments, supporting project teams to ensure schemes are planned, monitored, and delivered efficiently. This role would suit a Planner with strong on-site experience who understands construction sequencing and project lifecycles from groundworks through to handover.
Key responsibilities will include:
Producing and maintaining detailed construction programmes using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
Supporting pre-construction planning, including baseline and tender programmes
Monitoring progress on live projects, identifying risks, delays, and mitigation strategies
Integrating subcontractor programmes into the master schedule
Carrying out critical path analysis and look-ahead planning
Working closely with site and project teams to capture real-time progress updates
Preparing programme reports and updates for internal and client meetings
Supporting progress reporting, forecasting, and risk managementTo be considered, you will ideally have:
At least 5 years' UK experience in construction planning
A background in new build residential developments
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and delivery processes
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
Experience working closely with site teams (site-based planning experience highly desirable)The successful Construction Planner will be offered a salary in the region of £45,000-£55,000, depending on experience + package.
