Site Engineer
The Site Engineer is responsible for managing technical aspects of construction projects on site. This role ensures that work is carried out according to design specifications, safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines. The Site Engineer acts as a key link between project management, contractors, and consultants.
Key Responsibilities

Setting out, leveling, and surveying the site according to drawings and specifications

Interpreting construction drawings, plans, and schedules
*
Ensuring construction works comply with design, quality, and safety standards
*
Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site
*
Monitoring daily site activities and progress against the project schedule
*
Conducting site inspections and resolving technical issues as they arise
*
Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
*
Ensuring materials used on-site meet project specifications
*
Maintaining accurate site records, including measurements and as-built drawings
*
Supporting the project manager in planning and resource allocation
*
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements and Qualifications
*
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field
*
Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role
*
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
*
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
*
Proficiency in surveying equipment and basic engineering software
*
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
*
Strong communication and coordination abilities
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
