Architectural Technologist

A major international engineering and design consultancy is looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist to support a busy programme of Rail and Defence projects. This contract role offers an immediate start and the opportunity to contribute to complex, nationally significant infrastructure schemes within a highly respected multi‑disciplinary environment.

You will support project teams by producing coordinated technical information and assisting with the delivery of design packages across both Rail and Defence sectors. Typical responsibilities include:

Preparing detailed drawings, models and specifications

Working within established BIM and project standards

Coordinating with architects, engineers and project managers

Ensuring compliance with sector‑specific regulations and technical requirements

Supporting design development through to construction‑ready information

Requirements

Strong experience as an Architectural Technologist

Background in Rail, Defence or other regulated sectors preferred

Proficiency in Revit/BIM advantageous

Ability to work effectively within an office‑based team

Eligible for, or already holding, SC Clearance

Contract Details

Approx. 6‑month duration, with a strong likelihood of extension

£35–£40 per hour, depending on experience
