Design Manager

Reginald Gray are currently seeking an experienced Design Manager to join a growing construction business delivering commercial new build and refurbishment projects valued between £1m and £30m.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a varied project portfolio while playing a key part in a business that is expanding and investing in its future.

The Role

As Design Manager, you will take ownership of the design process from pre-construction through to delivery, ensuring design solutions are coordinated, compliant, and buildable.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing and coordinating the design process across multiple projects

* Acting as the main point of contact between consultants, subcontractors, and project teams

* Ensuring design programmes align with construction programmes

* Identifying and resolving design risks and buildability issues

* Maintaining design quality and technical compliance

About You

* Proven experience as a Design Manager within commercial construction

* Background in architecture or construction

* Experience delivering projects from £1m to £30m

* Strong technical knowledge and coordination skills

* Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
