Location: North West/Greater Manchester

A well‑established construction contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a variety of refurbishment and framework projects across the Greater Manchester region. Around 70% of work is based locally, with additional projects across Lancashire.
About the Role
You will manage a diverse portfolio of works including:
Refurbishment projects
Demolition
Waterproofing
Fit‑out works
Working at height
Office and school projects
Occasional extension and new‑build
The business operates across multiple long‑term frameworks, delivering consistent work streams in the public and commercial sectors.
You will oversee teams of 6-8 operatives, typically based around the Greater Manchester area ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Experience Required
Proven experience managing refurbishment projects
Background in extensions (Not Residential)
Strong understanding of site safety, compliance, and working at height
Ability to manage subcontractors, direct labour, and client relationships
SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS Black or Gold Card, Scaffold Inspection, Temporary Works
